Overhead Cranes
Seven indoor overhead cranes were disassembled and removed from their travel rails in the assembly shop. Three of these cranes required TRENT's hydraulic lifting tower because of their size and proximity to the roof. Each crane consisted of two main girders, nearly 100-feet in length and weighing up to 47-tons (94,000-pounds or 42,000-kg), along with the hoist trolley that carried the crane's hook(s) and the end trucks that tied the girders together. |
